about

The Long Walk Home is the debut album of acclaimed Canadian spoken word poet, Brandon Wint. The album aims to use lush, poetic imagery and supplicant, direct musical compositions to reckon with the triumphs, travails and pre-occupations of the poet's own life. The Long Walk Home is, as the title suggests, a journey; one which takes its listeners through articulations of isolation, loneliness, mortality, desire, deep love and belonging. The album, like all of Brandon's poetic work, is a meaningful site of reflection on humanity, spirituality, personal narrative and healing.
