about

Against Loneliness is an EP by Brandon Wint in collaboration with Ottawa-based producer Jeepz, with thanks for Jeepz patience, generosity and skill throughout the process of making this project.

This collection of poems deals with intimacy, relationships, and self-love, which are each perhaps antidotes to loneliness.

The EP comes on the heels of Brandon Wint's debut book of poetry, Divine Animal, which can be purchased here:

For the foreseeable future, each project Brandon releases will be complemented by a reading list, as Brandon's artistry hopes to be a catalyst for growth, learning and (self)-accountability. For Against Loneliness the reading list is as follows:

- In The Wake:on Blackness and Being by Christina Sharpe
- A Map to the Door of No Return by Dionne Brand
- Surviving Canada: Indigenous People Celebrate 150 years of Betrayal (edited by Myra Tait and Kiera L. Ladner)
- Policing Black Lives by Robyn Maynard
